Samika Sabesan 

President and Founder

Samika Sabesan is a junior at Brookfield East High School with a passion for STEM and working with children. Outside of YSS, Samika enjoys performing in musicals, leading her schools forensics team, participating in her school’s math and science teams, and watching historical documentaries.  

Taylor Artz

Vice-President 

 Taylor Artz, a junior at Brookfield East High School, is a student-athlete with enthusiasm for math and science. In addition to volunteering at YSS and other clubs, Taylor spends her time swimming, studying, and babysitting her younger siblings. 

Bridget Jensen

Director of Events

  Bridget Jensen is a junior at Brookfield East High School who has been interested in the field of stem ever since she was a little kid. Outside of YSS Bridget plays tennis, volunteers at a dementia care facility, and goes to the gym. Additionally, Bridget is an avid reader. She likes to read about neuroscience and history. 

Bani Arora

  Bani Arora is a High School Junior interested in teaching youth about STEM. Outside of school, she loves playing tennis, volunteering, and reading, she is also involved in her Schools’ math and business Clubs. 

Victoria Kotsonis

Social Media Manager

  Victoria Kotsonis is a Junior at Brookfield East High School, who loves working with children. Outside of YSS Victoria enjoys reading, and spending time with family and friends
